The Slower Move exists because too many families face the hardest transitions of their lives without a guide who understands both the emotional weight and the practical complexity involved.
We are not a moving company. We are not just real estate agents. We are the people who sit at the kitchen table, listen first, and then build a plan: the home sale, the new living arrangement, the belongings that need to find new homes, and the family dynamics that need to be navigated with care.
We measure success in smooth closings and days on market, yes, but also in the relief on a family's face when someone finally has a handle on it. In the senior who feels seen rather than rushed. In the home that is settled with dignity rather than emptied in haste.

Later-life transitions are among the most emotionally and logistically complex events a family can face. There are homes to sell, belongings to sort, new living arrangements to plan, and relationships to navigate, all while someone they love is in the middle of a significant life change.
